Many feeds do not say whether a job is full-time, part-time or contract.

Methodology

Where the listings come from. Listings come from public job feeds we aggregate (Adzuna, Jooble, WhatJobs, Greenhouse career pages). The catalog refreshes every 6 hours, and a listing that has not appeared in any feed for 14 days is retired, so this page reflects the jobs open on the site right now. Every number is computed from those listings when the page is generated; the page may be cached for up to an hour.

Only fully remote listings. Only listings that state they are fully remote are counted. Listings whose text says the job is onsite or hybrid are filtered out before they reach the site.

How roles are assigned. A listing belongs to a role when its title contains one of the role's keywords, the same rule our category pages use. A title can match more than one role (a "Payroll Tax Accountant" counts under payroll, tax and accountant), so role counts add up to more than the total. 127 listings match none of the eight roles, for example accounts payable or billing titles.

How pay is normalized. We use only the pay a listing states, and only US dollar figures count toward dollar amounts. For a range we take the midpoint. Hourly pay is annualized as the rate x 2,080 hours (40 hours a week for 52 weeks). Of the 141 listings that state any pay, 42 are usable. Left out: 98 in other currencies; 1 that cannot be a yearly salary (under $15,000 or over $1,000,000 after annualizing, usually an hourly rate labeled as yearly). We report the 25th percentile, the median and the 75th percentile, rounded to the nearest $1,000, and hide any figure based on fewer than 5 listings. Pay posted in listings is not the same as pay people accept, and listings that publish pay may differ from those that do not.

States, countries and companies. A listing's location is the place the feed gives for it, usually where the employer is based or where candidates must live. We read US two letter state codes, full state names and the main cities we list for each state; a listing that names several states counts once in each. 326 of 593 US listings name a state. When a feed sends no country we infer it from the location text. Companies are counted by the name on the listing, which is sometimes a staffing agency or a job board reposting the role.

Tools and certifications. A listing counts once for a term when its description mentions it as a whole word, so "excellent" does not count as Excel. Oracle mentions that are part of "Oracle NetSuite" count only toward NetSuite. A mention can be a requirement or a nice-to-have; we do not tell them apart.

Time covered. The listings in this snapshot were first posted between March 18, 2023 and October 24, 2026. Some employers keep a role open for a long time, which is why the earliest date can be old.
